Refund policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
This Refund & Returns Policy applies to consumer purchases through the That Chunky Yellow Mouse website. That Chunky Yellow Mouse (TCYM) is a trading name of Stone Digital Media Ltd.
Change-of-Mind Cancellations
You have the right to cancel your online purchase without giving a reason. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day you, or someone you nominate other than the carrier, receive the goods. If goods from one order are delivered separately, the period ends 14 days after the day the last item is received.
To cancel, tell us clearly that you wish to cancel by emailing cs@thatyellowmouse.uk. Please include your name and order number to help us identify the purchase. You may use the model cancellation form at the end of this policy, but you do not have to.
Returning Your Goods
Send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day you tell us you are cancelling. The deadline is met if you send them before that period expires.
Please email cs@thatyellowmouse.uk for the appropriate warehouse returns address and practical instructions. We will provide these promptly. This administrative step does not make your statutory cancellation or return rights subject to prior approval.
For a change-of-mind return, you pay the direct cost of returning the goods. We recommend using a suitable tracked service and retaining proof of postage. This is a recommendation, not a requirement to buy a particular postal service.
Condition of Returned Goods
Please take reasonable care of the goods and return all included contents and accessories. Please include the original packaging where possible. Missing original packaging does not automatically remove your statutory right to cancel.
You may inspect goods as you reasonably would in a shop. If handling goes beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, and this reduces their value, we may deduct that actual loss in value from your refund, up to the price of the affected goods, where the law permits. Any deduction will be assessed individually and explained to you. We do not impose a fixed restocking or administration fee.
Trading Cards and Sealed Collectibles
Factory wrapping and seals can form an important part of the value of booster packs, booster boxes, collection boxes and other sealed collectibles. Breaking seals, opening booster packs or removing or damaging packaging may go beyond reasonable shop inspection and may substantially reduce the product's value.
Opening a product does not automatically remove your statutory right to cancel. However, where legally permitted, we may deduct the actual reduction in value caused by excessive handling. Opening one item does not automatically invalidate a return of other items in the order. Your rights concerning faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods remain unaffected.
Individual Cards, Mystery and Blind Products
Individual trading cards are covered by the same statutory cancellation rights. Damage or handling beyond reasonable inspection may lead to a deduction for actual loss in value where legally permitted.
For mystery bundles, mystery packs and blind products, you are purchasing the advertised randomised product rather than a particular possible card, character, rarity or variant. Receiving a correctly described random selection you did not hope for is not, by itself, a fault.
These products remain subject to statutory cancellation rights. Opening them may substantially reduce their value and may result in a lawful deduction for excessive handling. This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty or do not match their description.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If there is a problem, contact cs@thatyellowmouse.uk as soon as reasonably possible with your order number and details.
You will normally have a short-term right to reject faulty or misdescribed goods within 30 days of delivery and receive a refund. Your rights continue after this period: depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or final right to reject.
We will cover reasonable return costs where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described and we are legally responsible. Contact us so we can arrange an appropriate return method.
We may request photographs to help assess the problem or record the condition of a return. Photographs are not a condition of exercising your statutory rights; if you cannot provide them, contact us to arrange another reasonable way to assess the goods. There is no separate 14-day reporting deadline that removes your rights concerning faulty goods.
Refunds
For a statutory change-of-mind cancellation, we will refund you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day we receive the goods back or, if earlier, the day you provide evidence that you have sent them back.
We aim to process refunds within five working days of receiving returned goods, subject always to the statutory deadlines above. Any lawful deduction for diminished value will be explained.
Where you exercise a statutory right to reject faulty goods, we will refund you without undue delay and within 14 days after the day we agree that you are entitled to the refund.
Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. We will not charge a refund fee. Your payment provider may take additional time to display the credit.
Shipping on our website is free on all orders, so there is no original delivery charge to refund. We will not deduct the cost of that free outward delivery from your refund.
Sale and Discounted Items
Sale and discounted goods have the same statutory rights as full-price goods. A specific fault clearly disclosed before purchase cannot itself be relied on as an undisclosed fault, but your other statutory rights remain unaffected.
